The Eye Fi memory card could be one of the coolest new digital camera accessories I’ve seen in a long time. Basically, you set it up with your computer when you first get it, then put it into your SD-card compatible digital camera and start shooting. It automatically transmits your photos across your home WiFi network to online photo companies of your choice. For an idea of the sites it works with, click here.
I’m waiting for one of our local stores to get them in before I buy one, but this could be a great little piece of real estate technology to add into your arsenal. RMLS has increased the number of photos you can add to a listing to 16, but why not snap away, upload them to one of the photo sharing sites like Flickr or Facebook and distribute the link with your bi-weekly email newsletter? Especially now that you don’t have to resize the photos, you don’t even have to plug in your camera. It is all taken care of automatically.
Reviews are great already. If you want to get one and test it out, please let me know about your experience.
