According to the Brookings Institute, the Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton area is within the top 10 most walkable cities. I found this interesting because I live in Beaverton and resent the fact that I have to drive everywhere. Things are close, but not close enough. Or perhaps I’m lazy. Anyway, here’s the list from Realtor Magazine. I also found it interesting that Beaverton and Vancouver are now separately listed with Portland. I remember the good ol’ days when we were just content to know we were included in the “Greater Portland Metropolitan Area”.

Sorry I’ve been missing a bit this week, I’m absolutely swamped with work and home projects as well as fighting my very own special version of the plague. Expect the next two weeks to be filled with video tutorials before I head off to sunny Cozumel for a week of diving. Look at that water!
