  • In case you hadn’t noticed, the search box on NickBostic.com is Lijit powered. It was far easier to implement than Google Site Search, I think it looks nicer and gives me some great analytics.
  • Shared by Nick I frequently teach people about the benefits of online social networking and am frequently told “I don’t have the time”. This is a great write-up that almost perfectly resembles my approach. I tried using the same username, but I started so long ago with an “n.bostic” somewhere that can’t be changed to an “nbostic”, so I have two. Torley amplifies your awesome with the useful and fun. He loves life, wife, and watermelons. You can check out his profiles…
  • RMLS? Are you paying attention? Consumers want a better public-facing MLS which in turn generates more leads for your paying members. You have the most reliable source of active listings, either let them go to Trulia so they can add them to their other listings or beef up RMLS.com, please!
  • Yay Oregon! Yes, at first the gas tax increase, the titling fee increase and the registration fee increase sure seemed painful since we have such sprawl and cars are almost required. But reading that this will actually help to fix some of the major mass-transit options, I’m willing to pay the extra price.
  • Another great article explaining why blogging is one of the most important aspects of your real estate business. The best part is, replace “real estate” with whatever industry you’re in and it still (mostly) applies. They require less dependence on “webmasters”, they are inherently search engine friendly and they open conversations. What more do you want?
