This is definitely a long article, but that’s because it’s so good and comprehensive! For those of you who either aren’t yet social networking (egads!) or are reluctant to jump into some of the networks available, this is an incredible primer into the etiquette of some of my favorites.
I’m glad to see Redfin changing over to gMaps instead of the Microsoft Virtual Earth. I remember Cyberhomes launching with MS VE and thought that was a bad decision. Then saw VE at Inman and complained about the speed and they said “Oh no, we’re WAY faster” and on their demo, they were. Redfin confirms my usage however and shows gMaps to be 385% faster.
Frequently, it’s the Boomers I encounter and educate on the benefits of email marketing who are the first to say “Sounds like SPAM”. Here’s just another of many articles that shows concrete numbers that demonstrate email marketing is a very effective method, especially amongst the Baby Boomers.
