  • I have conducted several green building classes for Realtors in Portland and one push-back I always get is that the houses are so much more expensive. Although building one for under 100k will be a dramatic way for people to give up that thought, just take a look at utility bills. One green home I visited is 700 square feet larger than my home, but their gas/electric bills are less than a quarter of my bill, and that’s at today’s utility rates, which will only increase.
  • Although these are some great ideas, I take the opposite stance. I DONT’T want to work with you on your SEO forever. There are a few key principles that, if applied correctly, should work for you into the foreseeable future. So why should I keep charging your forever? I’d rather move on to the next person with a new, unique challenge to stimulate me with. If some new technique comes along, I’ll be sure to let you know.
  • Wow, I’ve never read such a well-written, insightful article discussing the various applications available from Google for BlackBerry’s! :)
  • Knowing Brad makes me laugh pretty hard after reading this article. He’s always been very laid back and calm when I’ve been around him, so this surprises me a bit. But he does have a point. I utilize some automation in my social marketing pursuits, but ideas like an automated update that I didn’t think of (beyond “New Blog Post:”) are a bit over the line.
  • One unmentioned corporation on Twitter thus far is Ford. They have been doing an excellent job of promoting their marketing efforts via Twitter. So if you are the owner, head of marketing or manager of a small business, what more proof do you need that this works than Ford, Comcast, JetBlue and Zappos, to name a few?
