Nick Bostic started his online marketing career at the young age of 10 when he started promoting the businesses of friends and family on BBS’s, Prodigy, and Compuserve. When he was 15, he started coding HTML.

Self-education has always been important to Nick as he figured out Javascript, Flash, PHP, MySQL, SEO, and PPC on his own – degrees in Finance, Marketing, Management, or Computer Information Technology weren’t relevant or couldn’t keep up with the rapidly changing landscape at the time.

While attending university, Nick became a very active SCUBA instructor, running his own program frequently filled with students older than he was. This was where he gained his understanding of how to successfully educate others, even on complex topics like diving physics.

In his free time, he worked on his own web sites and those of local paying customers. Before 2000, Nick was developing ecommerce sites for local companies that integrated with their in-store inventory systems.

After graduating, Nick learned classic sales techniques from 24 Hour Fitness, Smart Wireless, and AT&T/Cingular Wireless.

Nick moved from AT&T Wireless to manage Chicago Title’s marketing efforts, including presenting seminars and individually consulting real estate professionals to help guide them in their marketing activities.

Nick moved back to the diving industry to become the Director of E-Commerce Sales & Marketing for the largest online retailer in the SCUBA industry. Eventually, he also directed the newest brand in the family of companies serving the outdoor community.

He successfully managed the inbound marketing programs including content marketing/SEO, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, email, affiliate program, influencer outreach, and more.

After nearly a decade serving his favorite niches, Nick was eager to try something new. He is currently running a boutique marketing agency in Orlando, Florida.

In his free time, he serves on the board of directors of Burnt Oranges Inc, a Florida-based nonprofit corporation working to encourage and support large scale participatory art. Along with his board seat, he is the Communications Officer and co-event lead for their annual 500+ person multi-day camping music and art event.

Careers in consultative sales of luxury consumer goods and retail sales management combined with a lifetime of experience directing marketing strategy allows Nick to understand the complete sales funnel.

In 2019, Nick became Black Rock Ranger Saint Nick. Rangering allows him to combine so many of his favorite activities: participating with interactive art, meeting interesting global travelers, community development, event operations, and gifting selfless service.
